🧘 Getting Ready for Your Live Session
Before Every Class:
Internet: Connect to your 5GHz Wi-Fi or use a wired connection for the smoothest video.
Camera On: Position your device so I can see your full body and your mat—this allows me to give you real-time posture corrections!
Mute: Please stay on mute during the flow to minimize background noise for others.
💻 If watching on a Laptop (Best for Interaction):
Browser: Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the best compatibility.
Audio: If you use external speakers, place them near the front of your mat so you can hear my cues clearly.
View: Once in Google Meet, click the three dots (…) and select “Change Layout” > “Spotlight” to keep me on the full screen.
📱 If watching on Mobile/Tablet (Best for Flexibility):
App: Download the Google Meet app for a more stable connection than the mobile browser.
Do Not Disturb: Turn on “Focus Mode” or “Do Not Disturb” so calls or notifications don’t interrupt your flow.
Position: Use a tripod or lean your phone against a sturdy object at eye level.
📺 If watching on a Smart TV (The Immersive Experience):
Casting: Open the class on your Phone or Laptop first, then tap the Cast (Chromecast) or AirPlay icon to send the video to your TV.
Native App: Many Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony) have a Google Meet app built-in. Just sign in and enter our permanent meeting code.
Sound: If using TV speakers, ensure the volume is high enough to hear over your own breathing!
💡 Pro-Tip for the Best View:
“Pin” my video feed by clicking the pin icon on my image. This ensures that even if another student makes a sound, your screen stays locked on me and the studio.
🔒 Your Privacy is Our Priority We use a “Professional Spotlight” mode for all our online sessions. This means:
You see only the Instructor: Your screen will be locked to the studio feed.
Private Practice: Other students cannot see you in full-screen; your video is only visible to the Instructor for alignment corrections.
Distraction-Free: Peer-to-peer chat is disabled so you can stay in your flow.
